The Tallest Man is a Website devoted to cataloging and chronicling the world's tallest people of all time. The site is run by a Dutchman named Arjen who currently lives in the United Kingdom with his wife and children. He approaches the topic of height with a great deal of respect and he's done a nice job of debunking fakes and posting articles about living and historically tall people. Arjen's fascination with giants began in the mid-70's when reading about Robert Wadlow and Sandy Allen in the Guinness Book of World Records. Arjen's goal for his project is to build and maintain an online image database of photos and news clippings of people 7 ft 2 and up. Both the Website and discussion forum are free for anyone to use and Arjen hopes his site will remain in the public domain to ensure the history of the world's tallest people are not co-opted or forgotten.
